Foot Reflexology

Foot Reflexology

What is foot reflexology?

Foot reflexology is a type of harmonising therapy targeting specific points on the feet called reflex points that correspond to different organs, glands, and parts of the body. By applying pressure to these reflex points, we aim to:

  • Stimulate the body’s natural healing processes
  • Promote relaxation and stress relief
  • Improve circulation and energy flow
  • Support overall wellbeing and balance

How it works

Reflexology is not a foot massage, though it may feel similarly relaxing. Instead, the therapist uses specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques to apply pressure to mapped areas of the foot that correspond to various parts of the body.

This pressure can help to clear blockages in energy pathways, helping to return the body to its natural balance.

Potential benefits

  • Deep relaxation and reduced stress
  • Better sleep
  • Relief from headaches, tension, and anxiety
  • Improved mood and emotional wellbeing
  • Enhanced circulation
  • Support in managing chronic pain or fatigue
